Irc.IrcWorld.nl was originally founded around 1998 as IRC.Quicknet.nl by volunteers.
Because Quicknet is also the brandname of an ISP the decision was made to continue with a new server and a new name in a linked state.
Our network is reachable under this new name : IRC.Ircworld.nl
IrcWorld IRC is the place to be for a nice chat with other people. We have around 400 registered channels and over 7500 connections per day!
The servers is extremely stable and we treat it as if it where our own child.
For questions about IRC or the Services you can always ask the IRC crew in channel #help. (to get there type: /join #channelname)
IrcWorld is home to a variety of internetradiostations, so you can also enjoy live music while you chat.
When DJ's are broadcasting live you can make a request in their room to play a specific song.
Downloads
On our downloadpage we have all kinds of extremely fast downloads! Like the world famous mIRC program for windows, and our own IrcWorld optimised (dutch) script named QNirc! We also have some serverdocumentation (also dutch) and a download which allows you to create your own chatbox on your homepage!
